Beginner Quiltmaking -    
In this beginner class you will learn all the basics, from reading a pattern, measuring and cutting fabric, using a rotary cutter, piecing blocks, assembling rows and adding borders to your quilt top.  You may come to any or all of the beginner classes, but it is suggested that you attend at least two in order to complete your quilt top.  This class is also open to anyone that would like assistance in any beginner level quiltmaking.  First time participants will be able to use all of our cutting supplies, including rotary cutters, rulers and mats.


Quilted Baby Shoes -
If you love to quilt, sew or give adorable, unique baby gifts this class is for you!  Choose from 9 different baby shoes, oxfords and ballet shoes to mary janes and cowboy boots, each pair will melt your heart.  We even have prequilted and prewashed fabric to save you time before class!



Four Sided Placemats -
Four-sided placemats make mealtimes more fun. They're easy to create using this template and instructions. Lay the placemat flat to display one fabric, or flip and fold to showcase several fabrics at once. Each placemat requires four fat quarters.  


T-Shirt Class -
A perfect gift for that special graduate, commemorating an event, showing off your collection or for any occasion at all!  Learn to transform your t-shirt collection (that is probably just sitting in your dresser drawer) into a beautiful and unique quilt to cherish forever.


It's A Wrap - 
Fabric Bowls are quick, easy and a great way to use up your scraps to make something functional and fun.  But I warn you, this technique is very addictive!  Once you learn how to make one, you will want to make many more.


UFO Day -
This is a great opportunity to work on all those UnFinished Objects.  So bring that project you always wanted to start, or maybe that one you need to finish and sew with the best group of ladies in town!  You may bring your own lunch or we will put in an order at a local deli or restaurant for you, so that you can concentrate on getting those UFOs done!
Know Your Machine -
This class is open to owners of any brand of sewing machine that is in good working order.  You will discover what all those feet, accessories, buttons, dials and funny looking icons are all about. 

Jelly Roll Baskets -
Let us show you how to make a coiled basket using your favorite jelly roll (we prefer the batiks).  These make great bread baskets and the pattern even includes directions for an insulated bread quilt!

Chenille Baby Panel Quilt-
You will learn how to turn you favorite baby panel into the softest, cuddliest baby quilt you have ever seen (or felt)!


Quilt As You Go Tablerunner -
This is bound to be your most favorite project yet!  It is fun, fast and you quilt as you go, so after binding it you are finished!!!  We will share our tips for accurate piecing and perfectly straight angles and you will want one for every table in your house!



Toothbrush Rug Making -
NO SEW PROJECT

Made from torn (or cut) strips of fabric and a modified toothbrush tool.  May will teach you how quick these are to make and how they are a great 'no sew' portable project.  These rugs are a great way to use up all your quilting scraps strips!  If you make it with cotton fabric, they will be washable and will last for years.
Chenille Scarf -
Learn to make a warm, cuddly scarf using our faux chenille technique!  I warn you these are a cinch to make but are like potato chips...you can't have just one!


Paper Piecing-
Let us show you how easy Paper Piecing really is!  This beginner class will cover everything you need to know including our helpful tips and techniques for perfect points every time. 
Double Diamond Tablerunner -
We will make the unique tablerunner with distinctive, dimensional diamonds.  The Double Diamond Ruler™ makes it fast, fun and easy.


Biscuit Basket -
Learn to weave strips of fabric into these versatile baskets.  Line it with a napkin and fill to the brim with your favorite biscuits or use on your desk for mail, to store patterns or hold tissues!


Quilt Binding 101 -
This is the perfect class for learning the art of quilt binding.  We will cover all the basics you will need to know for straight binding, bias binding, mitered corners and sweet endings!  This is a 'must do' class for the beginning quilter.

Pillowcase Dress -
These cute little dresses are all the rage!  Learn how to make on in just a few hours from a pillowcase.  You may choose to use a new store bought pillowcase, a vintage "find" or one that you made with a few of our sweet fabrics.  (We will teach you how to do that too!) These will be perfect for the little girl in your life, available in 6M to 4T.


Fabric Scrapbooking -
You will love how we are combining scrapbooking and quilting.  Learn how to incorporate fabric, photos, and tons of embellishments to make a one of a kind fabric scrapbook for yourself or someone you love!

Learn to deconstruct simple sweatshirts, layer them with beautiful fabrics and stitch them into five comfortable soft jackets.  The finished look is sophisticated and chic, nothing like a plain sweatshirt.  Easy construction, these projects allow even those new to sewing to succeed and best of all...no lining required -- the sweatshirt provides the foundation and the lining!

Cotton Theory -
The Cotton Theory method makes quilting easy, no matter what size quilt you're making!  During the assembly, you will stitch strips in place using one or more Cotton Theory techniques, taught by Ardell, our CT certified instructor.  This adds extra dimension to the surface and the result is a reversible quilt.




Machine Quilting -
We will teach you how to use your home sewing machine to quilt!  Learn skills for accuracy and build your creative potential.  Some of the stitches you will learn are stitch in the ditch, cross hatch, echo and free motion.
