The Back Porch Quilters are the best long arm quilters I know!

Russ & Rhonda are a husband and wife team of long arm quilters who say, "our primary goal to you is providing top quality long arm quilting for those who love to sew beautiful quilt tops, but just do not have the time or space to do the quilting. The Back Porch Quilters will turn all that hard work into a heirloom treasure for years to come."

In addition to long arm quilting your top, they are now offering extra convenience services.

Are you pressed for time or space?  If so, they will PIECE and PRESS your quilt back for you for only $10.  You provide the fabric and note "press & piece" on your order form.

Are you in a bind?  They can also do the BINDING on your quilt.  Just provide the fabric and 'abracadabra' - your quilt is finished!

Cutting binding strips and piecing $10 for a lap size up to a double, $15 for queen and king sizes.

Applying the binding to the front only (so that you may hand sew it on the back) is 75 cents per linear foot.

Applying the binding to the front and machine 'sewn down' on the back is $1.50 per linear foot.

Here is a quote from her website: "We are a small home based business that is committed to providing you with the best natural soaps & toiletries. Our love of herbs and their uses has become our business. Our soaps are made with all natural vegetable oils and we use the best available to hydrate and condition your skin."

Lisa Adams and her husband are owners of this very beautiful retreat.

Here is a quote from their website: "Located on Lake Apalachia (near Murphy, North Carolina), our cabin is nestled in the beautiful Nantahala national forest.  The lake is 10 miles long, has over 30 miles of shoreline, is always full, adjoins wilderness and mountains,  Lake Apalachia provides the perfect backdrop for those in search of rest and relaxation."

Check out the website for pictures of the warm and cozy retreat, and plan your next get-away!

Website: www.mistymountainquiltguild.com
From their website: "Misty Mountain Quilters Guild has approximately 180 members, most of whom live in either Clay or Cherokee counties in North Carolina or Fannin, Towns or Union counties in Georgia.  The range of knowledge for these quilters is from beginners to very experienced in areas which include piecing, applique', foundation piecing, three-dimensional quilting, landscapes, embroidery, hand quilting, and/or machine quilting."

The Old Red Barn Company is owned and operated by Dana Bolyard.  I just think she is a wonderful lady and she makes some really funky quilts, crafts and fabulous soaps too!

Here is a quote from her website: "Sugar is the world's finest natural abrasive! Rub the scrub on moist skin and rinse. The sugar exfoliates -- it scrubs away the dry skin -- while the oils moisturize and leave you silky smooth all day long. Use Old Red Barn Co. sugar scrub head to toe daily and you will never need lotion again! What a great way to avoid the preservatives and other chemicals found in lotion!"

Make sure you check out her website for ordering and her blog for some very creative ideas.
